GLASTONBURY 2004

This year we camped again opposite the main stage. The usual gang were around and we had prepared greatly for our visit to Lost Vagueness. A few of us went for a meal at the silver service restaurant, and James even got his hair done specially for the occasion! The casino was as mad as ever, and I even managed to win a little. It was a good year, not too much rain (at least not compared to '97 and '98!) and lots of fun things going on. Muse were very good, and Paul McCartney was fantastic (especially after so much vodka!). My favourite bits were the odd things going on around, one being an impromptu performance by a compare on his sax with 'Nature Boy', another being a random man hiding in bushes with music from the x files blaring out of his briefcase. Also the Ballroom in the daytime was great with a gypsy band playing and dancing tea ladies. Sunrise on Saturday morning was spectacular complete with rainbow. And I mustn't forget to mention that wonderful pear cider. Yum!
