Dave's Philosophy on Life

Women

Women are the strangest creature known to man. It would seem that few men understand women, let alone try to live with them. How can a creature be so indecisive, and at the same time know exactly what they want?

It is through my experience, I have learned not to fear women. They are man's natural companion, and a well sought out commodity. To find one that is truly compatible in most ways, is a prize To find one that is totally compatible is nearly impossible… Or it is fake To settle for one over another is a matter of choice.

Few women have enough scruples to count a bag of marbles (I'll catch hell for that one, but I'll press...) others have enough electrons flowing through the brains to fuel a small city, but lack common sense! Where is the happy medium? That is what I'm looking for.

It is through my experiences, that I've learned. Here are a few samples of what I am talking about.

Physical age doesn't matter. Intellectual age does
A handicap is what you make of it. Fall back on it, and you will never move forward
Important decisions require two. Make them on your own, you might as well be on your own
Play a game and you are apt to lose. Be straight… Always
Life is give and take. If your don't doing both, something is wrong

Society

Have you ever watched people? I mean really watched people? Ever go to a bar, sit in the corner, and observe what goes on around you? Ever take note of the stupid things people do, and then think to yourself "I've done that, that looks pretty dumb!" Ever regret something you've done in the past?

I've heard that you should never regret something you've done. To regret it means that you wish it never had happened. Sure it was embarrassing (or whatever), but if it didn't take place, other things might not have happened. Maybe you wouldn't have learned your lesson. Maybe you would have continued to do something. Maybe Maybe Maybe...

You do have impact as to what goes on around you, but to say that everything revolves around you is a mistake. You are the most important person in the world, true, to yourself, but to others, you're just another face in the crowd. I laugh at people who continuously position themselves in the middle of everything thinking they are the hub of society.

There is one time, however, when you no longer consider yourself the "most important person." This phenomena is call "Love". When love kicks in, you can disregard this argument. Pseudo-love is another story though. This goes back to stupid people.

Internet/Computers

They are our future so if you don't know much about them, you'd better get into gear.

A friend asked me to describe myself. In a round about way, I found it fairly easy. Here is what I have to say:

I'm easy going, go with the flow, and have to have a plan of attack
I'll go by myself, if no one is interested in going
Don't care what people thing... for the most part
Believe life is a one-time-good-shot deal. Don't blow it!
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen

That about sums me up.
