You might be aware that your father or grandfather was among the constituents of this trust founded in 1972. This trust was founded by inspirations of many towering personalities like Dhondumama Sathe, Appashastri Sathe, Sitaram Purshottam Sathe (Vijay Stores, Vile Parle), Balasaheb Sathe Inamdar (Wai), etc.
This trust was founded originally to get centralised information of Sathes, Sathayes, Sathyes, Gondhalekars, Gowandes and Dharus all over. It had other objectives like
In December 2000, the trust published its Third Edition of "Sathe Kulavruttant" . Recently this trust has done "Jeernoddhar" of Moreshwar Mandir and Jugai Devi Mandir situated at Tolwadi, Sadye Pirandawane about 23 kms from Ratnagiri - a place believed to be the place of origin of Sathes. The trust, recently, organised a health check up camp for all primary school children in 5 Km. rural circle from above place. It meets regularly and the trust is guided by the suggestion made by its advisory committee. The trust has hoisted our own web site to give you up to date information about our activities.
Since you are from the Sathe clan, now settled abroad, you would be eager to keep your bonds in India alive. What better opportunity you will get than to become a member of this trust? By donating (not a membership fee) , you keep the fellowship alive with your " Sathe Kul "? This will help the trust to mobilise our own resources for various causes listed herewith on the enclosed sheet. The trust has ambitious projects to undertake which are enumerated in the list beneath.
