| Next spring, it must be around Hanami, she is still a baby and looking at falling petals from cherry tree near her father's house. Suddenly she has a vision of a Neo Queen Serenity standing on a crystal. The Queen looks at her and changes into Eternal Sailormoon holding her staff. A few moments after this vision, Setsuna comes to pick up Hotaru (she "borrows" her from Professor Tomoe) After Setsuna has transformed into Sailorpluto she carries the baby to the place where Sailoruranus and Sailorneptune are fighting against the mirror paredories, not the kind of place where you shall take a helpless infant. But Hotaru is anything but helpless - as soon as a mirror paredory threatens her, she proves that there is still an enormous amount of power hidden in the depth of her soul. Baby Hotaru destroys the monster, powers up the three other Outer Senshi and grows. When the Pluto, Uranus and Neptune look at her again, she is no longer a baby but a child of about four years. Another part of her life has just begun. The other Outer Senshi decide that they want to watch her close so they move into Professor Tomoe's house. (We never see him together with them so we don't know if he lives there too). Hotaru doesn't seem to miss him, she is a bright, happy child. She calls Michiru "mama", Haruka "papa" and she is still growing, not only her body but also her mind. Nevertheless she has fun chasing butterflies just as any little kid. One day Setsuna teaches her about time and the same day, she simulates the big bang, creating a holography so that the others can watch what is happening. Her holography shows the solar system and visualizes what she has seen in her vision. A dark cloud engulfs the moon and threatens the princess, Eternal Sailormoon. Hotaru doesn't understand what she has seen and she is afraid. That night, her time of innocent childhood end for the spirit of Sailorsaturn helps her recalling the past. A new part of her live has started. She is still a child but now of about the same age as Chibi Usa, but the knowledge of her past does not cause her to behave like she did at the beginning. Gone are the days when she had breakdowns, gone are her strange black clothes. After the defeat of Chaos, she still lives together with the Outer Senshi, they are her family and care for her. No other "civil" character has had that many different "forms" and lives so many various lives than Hotaru. She seems to have undergone a complete change of her personality, the shy, weak and unsure outsider has turned into a vivid and happy girl. Hotaru has endured a lot so we wish her to grow up as a normal child enjoying her live. BACK HOME |
