Keith Giffen:

Comic Book Biography: Keith Giffen by Rik Offenberger Newsarama.com NEW!!!
Old Blue Beetle, new Blue Beetle, old work, new work: this interview has it ALL!!! ... really ...

Keith Giffen Interview by John Siuntres, Word Balloon NEW!!!
Podcast interview covering basically the career of Mr. Giffen. If you've got a free hour, there are worse ways to spend it than listening to this.

Newsarama: Keith Giffen Talks the New Blue Beetle by Vaneta Rogers (November 28, 2005)
(Not a lot about the New Blue Beetle, but more than enough about what Ted Kord meant to Keith Giffen. A joke? Never)

Silver Bullet Comics: Firing More Than 10 Rounds on Keith Giffen's "10", etc. by D.J. Kirkbride (November 05, 2005)
(not specifically about the events of Countdown to Infinite Crisis, but I love his advice about who to blame for everything. I find I do it all the time. Try it: its fun!)

CBR News The Comic Wire: Talking Revelations In "Countdown to Infinite Crisis" with Keith Giffen by Jonah Weiland (April 3, 2005)
(Now, after reading this article, my question is: did Mr. Giffen think "Countdown to Infinite Crisis" actually was a good story?)

J.M. DeMatteis

A Conversation with the Legendary J.M. DeMatteis by TheComicFanatic.com! (December 9, 2004) NEW!!!
Mostly about the amazing Abadazad, but also much about working with that "new kid" Keith Giffen and ICBINTJL among other things ...

The KW Interview: Why J.M. DeMatteis Is the Man by Abdulkareem Baba Aminu(May 19, 2005)
(not specifically about Blue Beetle, but always nice to read about what one half of Giffen/DeMatteis thinks of their collaboration on JLI and their other wonderful projects ...)

Caught In the Nexus: J.M. DeMatteis by Mike Mailloro(February 19, 2005)
(mostly about The Stardust Kid, but nice tidbits about writing JLI and for JLU)

Keith Giffen & J.M. DeMatteis

Silver Bullet Comics: Boom! Studios Big ONES: Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis Unexpurgated by Jonathan Encarnacion (June 29, 2005)
(fantastic article on doing JLI, working together, Hero Squared, and everything in between and not in between)

Greg Rucka

Okay, You Get it Now, Boss? This is What Ya Gotta Do!: An Interview with Greg Rucka by Neil Bailey, Superman Homepage (April 2005) NEW!!!
(Very in-depth interview with Greg Rucka re: his work on Superman and that little thing called Countdown to Infinite Crisis. And I quote from the interview: "I have to say, I LOVED the Giffen/Dematteiss stuff, and frankly, I'm hoping to see them and basically say, hey, guys, take your shots, because you deserve the right to punch the snot out of us. I loved those books. Those were the books that brought me back to comics." I doubt either of them will ever do *that* ('cause they're not mean-spirited and petty like, say, myself), but if they do decide to take Mr. Rucka up on that "challenge", I'll back them up.

Synopsis of an interview(?) with Greg Rucka (discussing, among other things, evil Max Lord)

Synopsis of an Wizard World Boston panel with Dan Didio and Greg Rucka (with a tid-bit at the end about Keith Giffen and snuffing the JLI. Very interesting to compare what all these guys have to say ...)

Dan Didio

Zona Negativa Interviews Dan Didio NEW!!!
Its pretty much just this Q/A combo that I find interesting, so here goes:
ZN.- Will there be another Giffen, DeMatteis and Maguire's League?
DD.- If the boys have another story in them we would always be interested in telling it.

... oh really ...?
