Originally from Sydney, Australia. I studied music at The Sydney Conservatorium Of Music. Eager to become a part of the worldwide jazz music scene, I moved to NYC in 1996. Playing and studying with some of the jazz greats as well as composition at Juilliard, and conducting at Columbia, I grew exponentially and experienced much of what I was looking for.

In 2002, I moved to Austin to set down some good old friendly roots, and live close to my family. I have been here ever since and am enjoying teaching and playing places like the Elephant Room and Lamberts.
