This site was the first dedicated to the Payola$, one of Canada's greatest rock bands of the 80's. Under the name Payola$ the group has eleased one EP, 5 albums and one greatest hits album. They also released an album under the name Rock & Hyde.

Payola$ are touring Canada for the first time since God knows when, and have released a new album called Langford Part One. Payola$ won 4 Juno awards and were nominated a further 4 times.

In 1988 they split, and Paul Hyde, the lead singer, has released four solo albums to date, while Bob Rock released one with the band "Rockhead". Bob Rock has gone on to produce albums for many big name acts including Metallica, Motely Crue, and Tragically Hip. Paul has also produced a number of albums, written songs for such people as Kim Stockwood and has had songs recorded by Russell Crowe.
