In short, I hate it, too.

When I'm in superdownload mode, I augment my downloads by signing off of RS. Then I download a ~100mb file as a "free" user. Then I sign back on. I repeat this "free" download effort every 1 1/2 hours or so. Adds a little bit.

I even act mostly as a free user on days I'm not downloading much so I can accumulate "space" for a day I devout to downloading.

I even mark the 100 downloads I want on "favorites" to get 'em without counting against my 3G.

And, I don't mind giving people with large files the points. Nice reward for large files.
