A: The phrase "cup of sex" came to me and my roommates from cleolinda's King Arthur in Fifteen Minutes. Over several months, it made several evolutionary steps as an in-joke among our group, until one day, Trinity contracted a mild case of fasthearitis and thought I said I was going to write a cup of sex for April. Trinity found the idea amusing, as it would obviously entail two characters having sex in a teacup. After some discussion, we came up with the idea of putting the names of pretty much any character ever that we could write about into a hat. From the hat (which is actually a box because we didn't have a hat), two names would be drawn, and if the pairing was approved by the draw-er and the writer, the writer would have to write about those two characters suddenly finding themselves in a teacup in which they are required to have sex. Thus, Project Cup Of Sex.
