Y2K in Nu Yawk (EVE)  14:28 - A> Getting busted! or B> In a Micheal Jackson MTV video. There were 8000 cops out there, even the police academy was out! They were rather short. Headed out, was planning to have dinner but the rush was on. That's a veal sandwich (hey...mah name's Tony!) in my hand. Streets were cordoned off (30th St to Central Park, 6th Ave to 9 Ave!!)- it was like a warzone - have never seen so many folks out on the street. Reportedly, over 2 million folks were around times square & surrounding areas. Next. |
