The internet is a wonderful resource for researching health issues. We've included some specific

I did also want to plug a marvelous book I found on canine health care called
"Book of Dogs a Complete Medical Reference Guide for Dogs and Puppies"
by the Faculty and Staff of UCDAVIS School of Veterinary Medicine, Edited by Mordecai Siegal.
I think this is a must have book for any dog owner who wishes to be able to understand more
about canine health care issues.

We hope your animals are happy and healthy but wanted to include some info should you be
ever be faced with health problems. As your dog gets older you are more likely to face
health issue problems. As owners of four schnauzers over the past 20 years, we've had to deal
with several health problems including pancreatitis, heart murmur (something our vet tells us is not uncommon in small dogs), cushings disease (for one of our oldsters) and cataracts as they got older.
