Will I be able to earn enough credits to graduate with my class?

Yes, students earn credits that are applied to their district's graduation requirements. If students complete their requirements in S. A. M. P. they can return to their home school and walk at that school's graduation.

Will the program offer flexibility so I can manage my doctor's appoints and class work?

Yes, S. A. M. P. offers a flexible program and supports student's needs for extra appointments such as medical and nutrition (WIC) appointments.

Why should I transfer to this program instead of staying at my current school?

S. A. M. P. offers special classes in education for childbirth and child care. In addition
community resources are made available to each student.

Will there be child care for my baby?

Child care support services are available through a state funded program called Cal-SAFE. There is no charge to the teen parent who is working toward a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate.

Is there transportation to and from school?
The Jefferson Union High School District offers bus service to Baden High School. Bus passes and taxi vouchers are also available.
