HOME My Holiday In New York

SUNDAY

In the morning, Louise and I went to Wall Street, that's where the New York Stock Exchange is. It's a lot less crowded on a sunday, when the men in suits aren't there! Then we went to South St. Seaport, where Louise bought me a Louis Vuitton bag from a man in the street. I think it would have cost a lot more if we'd got it in Bloomingdales, it must have been because the man didn't have to pay rent for a shop. Then we went over to Greenwich Village for brunch. We went in the Pink Tea Cup for some good southern cookin'. We stuffed our faces with blueberry and banana pancakes, bacon, sausage, grits and biscuit. Then we did a bit more shopping in SoHo, which is the bit of Manhatten that is South of Housten street.
