Istituto Comprensivo " Karol
Wojtyla" Castellammare di Stabia, Italy
Have you ever heard about Karol
Wojtyla? He was Pope John Paul II, a Catholic Polish pope . He loved
children and wanted to instill peace and love among people. He met the most
important political and religious leaders of the world for talking with them
and trying to establish a better world based on love for God and for people.
In the hall of the school there is a big painting of Karol Wojtyla.
Our teachers always tell us about him and his great example for young
people.
The building is new and situated in the suburb of the town. It hosts pupils
from 3 to 13.
We can have Physical Education in the school gym and use computers in two
labs. The headmaster and secretary’s offices are downstairs. Upstairs there
is Rosa Merolla's classroom.
We go to school from Monday to Saturday. Lessons start at 8.20 and finish at
1.20, but on Wednesdays and Fridays, lessons finish at 2.20. At 10.00 we
have ten minutes break and we can talk with our friends and eat something.
