I think we can now begin a Stephen King Quotes Page Countdown to Christmas! Just 9 days to go until the celebration of Jesus's birth. NB: For those of you who think you should write Jesus' as the possessive form of the name Jesus, Stephen King advises against it! In On Writing he encourages budding writers to place an 's on the end of a name even if it finishes with 'S.' For example, when writing about a red car belonging to James, you should write James's red car, as opposed to James' red car.
Curious, but who's more succesful in literature than King?
Anyway, the Festive Season is fast approaching, if not already here! I spent today in London browsing Harrods (a completely ridiculous shop, if I may say so) and wondering who actually built the underground system...
As you can probably tell, I haven't got much to say regarding the site or Stephen King at the moment. What I can say is, keep checking back for those long awaited updates to the 'Real Collection,' as soon as I've got batteries for the Digital Camera it will be wagons roll for photographs of the new additions to my King shrine. Much progress has been made since the last pictures were taken, in Hardback and paperback content, so much so that I've actually completely run out of room on my shelves and had to begin stacking books horizontally on top of vertical books on the top shelf, if that makes sense!
My computer has been infected (God have mercy) with a 'KAK' virus, sent in the form of an email from an associate. I don't think it's that damaging, I got a Corrupt file warning when I booted up but that's all for the moment. However, I may be wrong so be very careful with your emails in the next few days!

HORROR WITHOUT KING
A mainly serious look at the horrors of the 20/21st century, featuring Horrific Jokes.
I'm taking advantage of a spare 30 minutes or so to write this. I'm in the midst of my mock exams at school, it's an hour of French first thing tomorrow, so I'll revise when this is done.
I received a long awaited (but rather poor) contribution the Horrific Jokes section at the weekend. Thank you JKJK for that!
I've recently been listening to The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon on audiobook. It doesn't seem as gripping as the novel did when I read it last year. But I'm running low on new King material, and I'm not a fan of short stories, particularly, so I'll have to put up with it.
The urgency of The Dark Tower has not lapsed yet. My mind keeps turning back to the monument, standing tall in it's field of roses, and what awaits the ka-tet when they arrive. I hope to God Roland gets to The Tower. He gave up Susan to save it, and there's nothing he deserves more than to fulfill the destiny that has used up his life.

Well, 8 more exams to go; French, Maths, RS, IT, English Lit., Electronics, Physics and History the second (as I call it, they say it's just paper 2), before I can truly celebrate Christmas.
