| The Stand was a 'made for television' miniseries based on the Screenplay adaption of the novel by Stephen King. It is a wonderful interpretation of the book, and will take you into it's world, and hold you there, stunned, until the credits roll at the end. It has a beautiful classical soundtrack and some excellent background songs, with an all-star cast including Gary Sinise (Apollo 13, Forrest Gump), The Stand miniseries will leave you wanting to watch it again. As an introduction, that's all there is to say. |
