At age 36, I had finally found my philosophy to a happy life - "You've got to dance like no one's watching and love like it's never going to hurt." Once I found this new freedom within myself to enjoy life without restraint, I was open to many new and exciting ideas. Finding scuba from there was just dumb luck!!

On a tour of a new school facility, one of the teachers mentioned a Jamaican vacation she had taken where she had a wonderful time doing many new things including scuba diving. She invited me to join her on her next vacation. I agreed to go, intending on enjoying the exotic locale. I was hesitant about the scuba and decided to sign up for a "Discover Scuba" class at a shop near me to see what it was all about. With my first breath underwater I was hooked! Now I can't wait to get out of the office and into the water.

Who knows, maybe the future holds an eco-tourism dive adventure business...traveling to all the exotic and wonderful dive locations...run by an irrepresible former internet developer...Me! Well, I can dream can't I?!
