| This is an Original Scurk that obviously was inspired by Steven McGlen's Hall of Fame image of the DG Bank in Frankfurt, Germany. While F. Powell did not make SO many changes in the details of the building itself, he showed considerable skill in the tying the two buildings together to make a very nice looking convention center. I was perhaps most impressed with the illusion of the 4 lane highway going up the realistic grade to the area behind the building, an illusion that seldom if ever has been pulled off so skillfully.
