Introduction

Welcome to "Who are the Seventh Day Baptists?" a web magazine guide to the Seventh Day Baptist Church. If you're unfamiliar with our church, or you read the title of the guide as Seventh-day Adventist, we're not surprised. Many people have heard of Sabbath keeping Christians such as the Seventh Day Adventists, but few have heard of the oldest Sabbath keeping church in America, the Seventh Day Baptist Church. Our goal is that as you explore this guide we can correct any misconceptions you might have, acquaint you with our long history, our beliefs and the people who are what the Seventh Day Baptist church is today.

My name is Kyle Pratt and I created this guide and it includes my personal testimony along with many articles on the history, people and beliefs of the Seventh Day Baptist church. Some of the articles in the guide are official publications of the Seventh Day Baptist church and others, such as The Keystone Commandment were written by me. I hope that all of them will give you a better understanding of the history and beliefs of the Seventh Day Baptist church.
