Cabinet cards of George Peppel, born in 1896. He was dressed in traditional Victorian style outfits that we would consider very feminine today. His baby brother Henry is also dressed in beautiful outfits. Winifred Black was married to George.(SOLD)


 
Left is Alice Catherine Black 1902, then her sister Dorothy 1903 then Alice and Dorothy. Last is Dorothy 1903 Born in Elmer N.J.


 
Young M. S. Black from age 2 to 14, 1877-1885. Born 1875 in Swedesboro N.J. His father was Hewes Vanleer Black, pictured below. He later married Elizabeth Stratton Black to the right.

 

Hewes Van Leer Black Born 1-1-1845 ( see Sprute), my great, great grandfather photo taken in 1896. Then his friend Phoebe Hillman Guest. Then Mary Elizabeth Stratton Black, Born 1-11-1844 Died 2-11-1924. Married William Vanleer Black on 3-25-1869, photo taken in 1896 at age 52. My great great grandmother. Mother of Elizabeth my great grandmother. Last is Margaret Stewart aunt to Tabitha Robbins Rulon.



Left is Elizabeth Batten Rulon Born 8-15-1860 Died 3-25-1945. Buried Episcopal cemetery Swedesboro N.J. Photo taken 1887 She married Carlton E. Rulon, and her daughters were from left to right Belle and Florence Rulon. The oval wood framed picture in original bubbled glass is of Anna (Hewes's futhure wife) Rulon, and her sister Margaret Rulon daughters of Benjamin Rulon. Shown in tintype.
