She helped me start my Jr. Handling career, taught me how to care for the animals top to bottom.  As she learned more so did I and she eventually got very serious in the conformation ring after excelling at Obedience.  

She has breed two Champions, both of which I put points on including majors.  If it weren't for her love of the breed I would not be here either.  So she began as my first mentor 32 yrs ago.  

Then came along my second mentor and my second mother Barbara Ross (then Tervo she will kill me).  I had the wonderful opportunity of spending a summer with her traveling, handling, grooming, poop scooping as an apprentice handler that term and role existed and eventually living with Barb my Senior year of High School.  Dog shows every weekend I had died and gone to heaven. 

l learned so very much from Barbara on the art of handling and showing, so incredible is the knowledge her and my mother possess and have imparted to me and others.  Other mentors also include Dorothy Linn as Barb and I used to go to her (Dorothy's) Handling classes every week in San Jose back in 1974-75, , and all those wonderful supportive people I have met over the last two years at the shows as I was finally able to get serious in the breed on my own, along with previous and current CO-owners who included/include Dr. Gloria Rice, Melissa Campbell, and of course Barbara with Champion Talimar's Ted E Bear OFA, and the wonderful co-owners of Rocknoll Avet Nick Clayfield Dave and Jan Coleman. 

 Unfortunatley a divorce has again made me re think my goals and start over. But while married I campaigend and actively worked towards the championship titles on Paladin Amelia Earhart Castlehill, OFA, Melana's Tic Toc v Reinehaus, Shadowacre's Reality Incognito, and Ken-Delaine's Tyler.  

I am looking forward to a FANTAAAAAASTIC future with exciting animals.
