DOMINICA VS MEXICO SOCCER 2004
FIRST GAME-SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS-JUNE 19, 2004
MEXICO 10 DOMINICA 0

SECOND GAME in MEXICO-JUNE 27,2004
MEXICO 8 DOMINICA 0

Dominica was outclassed in the first game in San Antonio 10-0
and again in Mexico, 8-0 by the Mexicans. However we must give our hats off to our
courageous brothers who certainly gained some experience against a team
who was rated fourth in the World. Dominica's goal keeper, Mervin Angol
saved at least 10 goals in the first game and saved more in the second game.
His acrobatic heroics bring back memories of former
Dominica goalkeepers,George Carrington and Roy Williams.
Dominica had previously drew with Bahamas,1-1 and defeated them 3-1 on March 26, this year.
No matter the outcome of the games against Mexico, the Dominica team exuded
a resilience that could only have been inherited from their native country, Dominica.
