If this setting appeals to you, then perhaps you should pick up the game titled King Arthur Pendragon, and the adventures in ancient England will be right at your fingertips. Quite possibly more complex than Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, or even Rifts, it is still one of the better setting-specific games I've had the pleasure to pick up.
