Attending of computer to this world, changed industry era to be Informaton era. The first modern computer is marked with emerging of electronic computer that is called ENIC ( Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer). It made in 1946 on Pensylvania University by DR. John. Mauchly and J Presfert Ekert. Jr. It's made for doing ballistic computation.
Development of Computer a.(1946 - 1956) With main componen Vaccum tube, memory 2 kb, and cycle time 100 milisecond. included : ENIC, /harvard Mark III and IV,/ IBM 701,702,704,705/UNIVAC I and II
b. (1957 - 1963) Main componen : Transistor, memory 64 kb, Cycle time 1o microsecond. Included :Honey wall 800/ IBM seri 1400, UNIVAC III

c. (1964 - 1979) main component: IC, memory 4 MB, cycle time 50 nanosecond.included: Honeywall 200 series, NCR Century, Minicomputer(vendor:Hp,DEC,Prime and etch)
d. (1980 ->) Using LSI and VLSI Technology.LSI(Large scale integration), VLSI (Very Large scale Integration). with this technology, small chip consist in toushand of transistor and other component. |
