MA TESOL Conference is an honorable tradition in MA TESOL program
at San Francisco State University. Each semester, the graduating
class puts on a professional conference to celebrate their achievements
in the program and share their insights with faculty, staff and
other students.
This semester's event promises to be packed with hits. The theme
is "Learning to Teach, Teaching to Learn". This semester's graduates
have put together an exciting line-up of presentations, on everything
from Content Based Instruction to Contrastive Rhetoric to Computer
Assisted Language Learning.
We've also invited teachers from several Bay Area hiring committees
to speak at our plenary. They'll be telling us, "How to Get Your
Foot in the Door."
The grand finale will be a a closing champagne reception and
raffle in HUM 202 in the afternoon. Please click on "Raffles!"
on the left for more information.
So come join us on Friday, May 10 in the Humanities
Building. Registration starts at 8:30am in HUM 202. Cost is
$5.00 (includes breakfast & lunch). Hope to see you there!
