"He's under contract to 2006. And even if we had 15 offers we wouldn't let him go," Rummenigge told the Munich daily Abendzeitung. "Manchester have not even made a bid," he added. Kahn's agent Ludwig Karstens also ruled out a United move. "It's only Mr Ferguson speculating," he said of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Kahn, 33, started the speculation himself when he wrote in his column in the Sport Bild weekly it was time to move on. "I have won every challenge here. Maybe a new challenge abroad would be good for me," he said. Manchester United are looking to replace French goalkeeper Fabien Barthezhe and Bayern goalkeeping coach Sepp Maier said this week Borussia Dortmund's Jens Lehmann could be an alternative to Kahn. Kahn, who made his name with Dortmund before joining Bayern in 1994, earns a reported 7.65 million euros (dollars) a year. The keeper, who starred in Germany's run to last year's World Cup final, has recently been in the limelight after separating from his wife and taking up with a 21-year-old girlfriend. Boss Gerard Houllier is close to completing a deal for the Republic of Ireland defender, who will play his final game for Fulham at Charlton on Sunday.
Houllier will then turn his attention to signing Duff in what is likely to be a club record £12m deal if it goes through.
Duff may also become a target for Manchester United, but Houllier is determined to add much-needed width to his squad and is understood to have made Blackburn's inspirational left-winger his top target.
Blackburn have admitted in recent weeks that they are virtually resigned to losing Duff, which has re-ignited Liverpool's interest in a player they have tracked for 12 months.

Fabien Barthez is certain to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, according to reports. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has lost faith in the Frenchman after a series of poor performances and recently dropped him for the club's crucial Premiership match against Tottenham.
Southampton's Antti Niemi and Czech international keeper Petr Cech are thought to head a list of possible replacements that also includes Chelsea's Carlo Cudicini and Leeds' Paul Robinson.

Barthez, who has four years left on his contract with the club, has reportedly admitted that his time is up at Old Trafford.

David Beckham will not be leaving Manchester United, according to his father. Speculation has been rife that the England captain will join Real Madrid for £30m in the summer after being dropped to the substitutes' bench for the Champions League quarter-final against the Spaniards.
It was reported that Beckham had met his agent and wife Victoria following United's exit from Europe on Wednesday evening and demanded a move away from Old Trafford.

Sol Campbell will miss Arsenal's last three league games and the FA Cup final after the FA rejected an appeal against his red card in the title showdown with Manchester United. Campbell was sent off for elbowing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the 2-2 draw at Highbury.
But he was hoping to have a four-match ban overturned after his case was reviewed by the FA's video advisory panel.
Referee Mark Halsey confirmed he was happy with the decision - and now the FA has ruled the dismissal should be upheld.

Birmingham manager Steve Bruce is to be rewarded with a new contract after his achievements with the club over the past 18 months. City co-owner and plc chairman David Sullivan confirmed the board would be sitting down with Bruce to discuss a new and improved deal.
