Go to the tallest block
in the neighbourhood, take the lift and
go right to the top level. Get out and enjoy
the scenery. You will be amazed at what
you can actually see from there.
You should also visit to
the top levels of other blocks. Especially
if the block faces the sea. Woooo.... |

Bugis
!
Hey! Bugis is one of the
coolest place in Singapore... Yup, air-conditioned
street! Check out the shops and the food
too. Lots of tit-bits! Remember to go to
the fountain and watch kids play with the
water! Hear the bells at the top of the
nearby Hotel chime every 15 mins. You can
even hop over to Bugis village just across
the street.
The colourful and busy
surroundings will definitely lift your spirits! |

watch !
Hey, our land is peppered
with high rise buildings. Time to start
looking up to admire their architecture
and design. Rate and rank them. Choose your
favourite!
If possible, find out about
the special architectural considerations
of the various buildings in Singapore. E.g.
fengshui factors, unique features. Remember
to look at how the buildings blend into
their surroundings too.
If you are really bored,
count the number of levels! |

Wax
museum !
Go to the wax museum in
Sentosa and start taking photos with the
wax figures!
Take a trip back to the
past. The museum have a section devoted
to old street scenes where you can take
photos with these 'life-like' figures. See
the picture on the right. |

Sunset
!
Watch the sunset from the
stadium cove! The sun sets at different
locations throughout the year but generally,
you can see it across the kallang river,
towards the suntec area.
If you are early, go to
the nearby nicoll highway exit and laugh
at the cars waiting for ERP to end its operation.
You will find that Singaporeans really quite
cute. |
