JOAN and TED JOHNSON'S WEB PAGES

LINCOLN CITY

Ted was born in Lincoln and this picture shows the beautiful cathedral taken from Sincil Bank the home of Lincoln City football team.

Ted, Keith and Helen have long been keen supporters of Lincoln City and now Kate goes to matches fairly regularly and even Joan and Alice went to Cardiff in May 2005.   We think Alice was probably the youngest supporter there at just three months old!!

This was supposed to be Ted’s web page but he hasn’t really had time to keep it up to date.  In spite of the lack of recent entries the family are just as keen supporters and look forward to the 2005 - 6 season.

Lincoln City has become the first League Club to be owned by their supporters, as an Industrial & Provident Society.

SEASON 2002/3

6 August. City are out of Administration!!

A few days later with high hopes the season began knowing we are the bookies favourite for relegation. What was to follow was Alexander the Great Miracle March to the Miilenium Stadium (Photos below). City's first ever National Final in their 119 year history was to end in a 5-2 defeat by Bournmouth. Even in defeat everyone had a memorable day out in Cardiff. We had a great season in spite of the restrictions imposed by the Administrator. Now we await August 9th and the start of the season that will see the Mighty Imps promoted to Division 2.

Unofficial sites worth visiting for the latest rumours etc are: Impsight and Impnet.

Keith (our son, that is ) is also the Team Manager of the DamNetbusters, an internet supporters team who have their own National league.

FAIRPLAY TROPHY

Damnetbusters were presented with this trophy at Leicester on Sunday April 22 2001. (That's Keith on the right.) This is the third consecutive year in which they have won it !!!!! WELL DONE !!!!!
