Twinning with Bangkok Pomprab

This is announce the twinning of Lions Club Singapore East Coast, District 308-A1 with Lions Clubs of Thailand Bangkok Pomprab, District 310-D.

The Twinning ceremony was made at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand on December, 6th 2001 between the Charter President of both Clubs.

Charter President, Lion Pornchai Sirimonga represented Lions Clubs of Thailand Bangkok Pomprab whilst Lions Club of Singapore East Coast was represented by Charter President Lion Yeo Teck Ser in the signing of the Twinning Agreement.

The Ceremony was witness by DG Lion Gumpanat Anatanasuwong of District 310-D and DG Er Lion William Tan Boon Ngee of District 308-A1.

The Singapore entourage was led by Lion President Peter Tan and 1st Vice President Lion Irene Ong.

A sumptuous dinner was hosted by the Lions Clubs of Thailand Bangkok Pomprab whereby Lions from both countries enjoyed themselves utterly with good foods, dancing, cultural show and a display of members singing prowess.

Club Extension - Singapore Joo Chiat

Lions Club of Singapore East Coast had its first Club Extension in year 2002, our new Club extension is the Lions Club of Singapore Joo Chiat. A Charter Night dinner was held on 23rd June 2002 to officiate the occasion.

Lions Befrienders Service Center (Bouna Vista)

As member of LBSA, our club had adopted the Lions Befrienders Service Center (Bouna Vista) to be our Club long-term service commitment. Two club members was nominated to be in the Board of Management for the Service Center. The Center is situated at Block 117 Commonwealth Drive
