| Muskrat to Franklin North

| Before leaving Muskrat
Shelter this morning, Jay and I went to see Ravins Cliffs, since the
rain had stopped and the clouds were below us in the Valleys.
We took a couple of pictures and enjoyed the beautiful view of the
mountains and valleys. |
| We decided on the way back
to explore an area, polluted with what we thought was trash.
We thought there must be a road near by. When we got to the
site, we discovered the trash was evidence of a plane crash.
It was not recent. We could tell it was a Cessna and blue and
white. |

| Easy 4 mile day. I
had to wait in Franklin for my drop box. I'll be on my to Nantahala Outdoor Center tomorrow. Jay left today to go back
to Rome, GA. Now Simon and I are alone. |
