1984-85 BEVERLY PAM COOLEY GAYLE JAMILAH LEZLIE MARK NICOLE In the fall of 1984, PAM was the only member of the original dance troupe still with the show! Three new dancers joined the show: BEVERLY, JAMILAH and NICOLE JAMILAH began dancing at the age of four! She studied ballet, tap and acrobatic dance and performed with various dance companies. After finishing college, she appeared in local productions of "Don't Bother Me I Can't Cope" and "Evolution of the Blues". She spent a year in LAS VEGAS appearing in "Hallelujah Hollywood", an MGM GRAND Production. She then appeared the LOS ANGELES based CIVIC LIGHT OPERA productions of "Pal Joey" and "The Wiz". She also spent five years as one of SHIRLEY MACLAINE's DANCERS! JAMILAH was featured in music videos for DIANA ROSS-JULIO INGLESIAS and MEL BROOKS! LEZLIE left the show prior to the end of the season. JANEEN (a member of the '82-83 Troupe) rejoined the SOLID GOLD DANCERS after LEZLIE's departure and remained until the end of the season! DARCEL RETURNED AS PRINCIPAL DANCER IN THE SPRING! GAYLE left at the end of the season after injuring her back on the show. SOLID GOLD DANCER SPOTLIGHT ON LEZLIE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE

Why would you choose them? How many dancers would be in your troupe? Would you have a Principal Dancer? If yes - who? You can choose any dancers who appeared on the show during the first six seasons!
