-Punctuation, spelling and capitals will be our focus through the use of our agendas (accuracy in copying messages that model good writing form) and we will also pursue this worthy self-editing goal soon in our personal dictionary/spellers.

-Novel Study: Hatchet by Gary Paulsen.  We will review chapter 8 by summarizing and discussing 6 key events.  We will then read chapter 9 out loud before engaging in a study of adverbs.  Both quiet reading and oral reading and conversation will characterize our study and use of chapters 10-13.

-School House Rocks! DVD presentation of Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs (all review) and Adverbs (new this week).  There will be a new sheet to accompany the song, Adverbs.
