-French is taught using the four modes/skills of learning.  This means that all students have the opportunity to learn through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

-We will continue to use our art techniques, the use of fonts, misting and wet-on-wet painting by applying these techniques to our daily work assignments in order to embellish them in preparation for grade 6 achievement and to present our work in a prideful manner.

Monday: 1) Math: We worked on a double-sided photocopy that was created to give us some practice with linear measurement, perimeter and area.  2) Starting tomorrow, we will have written and oral testing in French this week.  3)

Tuesday: 1) Math: MQ314 all and MQ315 all; We made a cubic metre by using twelve metre sticks!  2) Please come by and check out our HA-HA-SO bulletin board.  3) Our science graphs and peer evaluations are finally submitted.

Wednesday: 1) Math: MQ316, 317 and 318 all; We’re still studying volume.  2) We evaluated our science graphs together this afternoon.  3) I scored a 3/4/5 in oral testing in French today.
Thursday: 1) Math: MQ320, 321 and 322 all; We’re now studying litres and millilitres.  2) We listened to Canada’s Olympic bronze medallist in curling, Amy Nixon, during this afternoon’s assembly.  3) Could we please contribute to our classroom’s final S.T.O.R.E.?
Friday: 1) Math: MQ324 and 325 all; We now know that there is a great similarity in comparing millilitres to grams and litres to kilograms.  2) We received the results from our French test that we wrote on Tuesday.  3) Next week we get to act out the roles in our HA-HA-SO compositions (skits).
