-We will continue to use our art techniques, the use of fonts, misting and wet-on-wet painting by applying these techniques to our daily work assignments in order to embellish them in preparation for grade 6 achievement and to present our work in a prideful manner.

Monday: 1) Math: I am being encouraged to bring in a board game tomorrow that uses a spinner.  2) Sports Day has been moved from tomorrow afternoon to Thursday morning at 9:00.  3) The awards assembly is tomorrow at 10:30.  4) We plan on having our S.T.O.R.E. this Wednesday morning.  *Could we please contribute to our classroom’s final S.T.O.R.E.?

Tuesday: 1) Math: We performed trials with our spinners and recorded the results in a chart.  2) The grade six farewell assembly is tomorrow at 10:30.  3) Our final S.T.O.R.E. is tomorrow morning!  *Parents, please send a note if your child will not be taking a bus any time this week, including and especially Thursday. 

Wednesday: 1) All the students at Chinook Park are being asked to wear green for tomorrow’s Go Green sports day.  2) Tomorrow is the last day of school.  We will dismiss at 2:50 as normal.  3) My report card will be given out tomorrow afternoon.  4) I am coming home with two important notices from the school’s administration. 
Thursday: 1) I have the most important math test of the year tomorrow!  2) Today is the first day of the rest of my life...  3) My homework for the summer is to read the story that Mr. Myers wrote for me.  4) Have a healthy, eventful and restful, merry, blessed summer!
