SGU Virtual Library: Tour: Finding Information on the World Wide Web (Stop 2 of 5)
Most of the information in the Virtual Library is on the World Wide Web. There are several sections of the Virtual Library where you can find this information: Search, By Subject, Native American Collection, Reference, and Just for Kids!.
Search: The Search section lets you search the AIHEC Virtual Library and the whole Internet.
Search the AIHEC Virtual Library: The AIHEC Virtual Library contains an extensive set of web links that are organized by subject as a public or college library would be. With special emphasis on Native American information, it covers a wide range of subject areas, including arts and humanities, business and economics, computers and the Internet, education, entertainment and leisure, health and medical sciences, law, government and political science, sciences and technology, social sciences, and general reference works. It also links to magazines, journals, newspapers, online texts, and much more. If you are looking for Native American information or information of general interest, give the AIHEC Virtual Library a try.
Search the Internet: If you didn't find your topic in the AIHEC Virtual Library, it's time to try your favorite Internet search engine or index. We include links to Google, Yahoo!, AltaVista, and many more. We also include links to some helpful hints about how to make the best use of your search time.
