The male's name, it turned out, was Sahurru. Unlike those dragons raised in Kien society, he did not have a mother's name or a line name. He was simply Sahurru, a wanderer devoted to a geneticist who had created the dragon pups in the eggs. Though Nairne had no idea what they looked like, out of all the other clutches they were perhaps the only one that truly impressed her.

Sahurru, his friend the geneticist, and the dragonets themselves all seemed to hold honor in high regard. As a Dysiniu, a member of a priestly line for the Shadow Lord, and a loyal servant of Queen Yuraodru it was something Nairne could certainly hold in high regard.

Nairne was told of the intentions and desires of Doctor Schroeder, and how many thought it was wrong to just create life. She, herself, could not see anything wrong with Schroeder's work. What difference was creation of life in any way, as long as it was done for the correct reasons? Children could be conceived naturally and be undesired, be abused, or conceived for more...ill purposes. Something she would never condone.

Schroeder's children, were for no such reasons. As Sahurru had put it "The good doctor that birthed these children hopes to release golden hearts and noble causes to the world". It was a goal that Nairne could admire, as well as the speech and touches of the yet unhatched babies. In the end, she felt much better about the idea of bonding--so much, that she truly did want to bond one of the children. Though the fact that Sahurru told her they would be unlikely to seek to be her mate since they could sense she didn't want one made it that much easier.
