Who is Chris Carter?

Chris Carter is the creator and executive producer and frequent writer for fox's Award-winning series, The X-Files and Millenium.   Born and raised in Bellflower, California, Carter graduated from California State Univeristy at Long Beach with a degree in journalism then he spent 13 years working for Surfing Magazine as a writer and senior editor travelling abroad extensivly. In 1992, Carter began creating and developing television projects for the Tweentieth Century Fox Televison, (back in 1992 it was know as Tweentieth Television), under its company banner, Ten Thirteen Productions, including The X-File which won the Globe Award for best drama in both 1995 and 1997.

He is a multi-award winning/Creator/Excutive producer/Main Writer/Occansional Directorof The X-Files and MilleninuM, two of Fox Network's TV series. Carter is also the writer and producre of The X-Files movie. The X-files and are produced in association with Carter's company, "Ten Thirteen Productions".

What did Chris like in his childhood?

Chris Carter has stated that he was a big consumer of televesion as a kid, he liked it and thinks that's why he is doing what he's doing now. some of his favourites were; of course the show that inspired The X-files, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Mysterious Island, Twighlight Zone, The Outer Limits, Gilligans Island, The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family and Love American Style.
