What is BBYO??? Shedlov BBG???




What is BBYO(???) you ask . . .
BBYO is a Youth Led Youth Group for High School Age (8th-12th grade) Jewish kids. BBYO stands for B'nai B'rith Youth Organization. We plan and run our own programs, fundraisers, dances, weekly meetings, etc, with the help of our advisors. BBYO is the world's largest youth group, with nearly 40,000 members in 1,000 chapters. Over half a million teenagers have been a part of BBYO all over the world. BBYO is open to all Jewish teens who wish to take part in it. Our members play an active role in both the Jewish and general community. Our pro-active approach creates confident and competent leaders, who make BBYO unique.



What is Shedlov BBG (???) you ask . . .
Shedlov BBG (B'nai B'rith Girls) is a chapter in North Star Region BBYO (which by the way, is possibly the GREATEST region around!). we have a Democratically Elected Board that plans programs with the help of our advisors (Jill and Liz, WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!). Our programs are diverse and well rounded because we plan then around the Six Folds of the B'nai B'rith Girls (Creativity, Sisterhood, Jewish Heritage, Community Involvement, Recreation, and Social Action) for more info on the folds go to The Six Folds of BBG.
