Answer to Game No 12: Lion, Goat and Grass
Firs Round - The man will first take the goat and leave
it on the other side.
Second Round - Then he will take the lion and leave it on
the other side, but while returning he will bring back the goat with him,
otherwise lion will eat the goat - thus there is
only lion on the other side.
Third Round - Then he will take the grass, and leave the
goat on the first side of the river. He will drop the grass on the other side
of the river. Lion is already there, he doesn't eat the grass.
Then he will come back to take
the goat to the
other side of the river.
That is how he will transport all the three
safely to he other side of the river in four rounds.
Answer to Game No 13: Lighter Ball
Jeweler put 3 balls on one side of the scale
and 3 balls on the other side. He did not find any difference. Then he picked 2 balls from
the remaining ones and weighed. If the lighter ball was on the scale, the lighter ball
side will rise, if it is not one of them, then the remaining one is the lighter one.
On the other hand, if the lighter ball was
among the two sets of 3 balls, the lighter ball side will rise and he will weigh those 3
balls again.

Raam?
According to 130 rupees, Raam earns in 30
days = 130 x 30 = 3,900
Now his salary is 100 rupees more than his overtime, it means:
3,900/2 = 1950
(2,000 salary, and 1,900 overtime)
