Dogs Have Needs, Too

Almost anyone could tell you that to maintain an animal, including dogs, you need to provide the following:

• Food
• Shelter
• Physical care, including grooming and medical attention
• Exercise
• Affection

What many people don't know, is providing those things for a dog is not enough. In addition to those things listed above, dogs need:

• Leadership
• Social Standing
• Clear Communication
• Consistency

These needs are met in the natural social structure of the canine.
