Chanting and concentrating on channeling the One Power make up the majority of most healing performed in Tyran. But that does leave room for ad libbing and creating your own technique.
Cantrips can be easily learned and are vital to healing in any form:
Chanting is foremost as most spells use it!
Create food and water........sprout or ripen plants
Chill or heat liquids..............moisten or dry objects
Unlock simple locks............hide small items (invisible)

Choose own aura color....mine is blue

Superficial wounds (cuts, bruises, colds....)
/me reaches over and grabs nulls hand
/me chants (command)
/me sees brief flash of light
/me sees null feel better

Serious wounds or illness
/me goes over to patient
May I help you? (Always ask)
/me guides null to couch and sets him down
/me kneels and places her hands on null
/me sees a faint blue light form around her hands
/me closes her eyes and begins to chant softly
/me concentrates at the blue light bathes nulls wound in a soft glow
/me continues to chant
/me concentrates as the glow begins to dimish
/me opens her eyes and smiles
/me sees null feel better
/me binds the wound gone
/me knows it is far away
All of the chanting, glowing and concentrating is in whatever order you wish it to be and lasts as long as you deem necessary, severe or numerous wounds may need several repetitions of each. Binding is done in order to prevent a relapse such as having a fever to return to a body in a weakened condition........ remember :
/me binds pain away
/me knows it is gone
Binding can only be rmoved by the person who cast the bind or by a stronger magick user.
Prescribe rest and hand item from pouch such as an appropriate herb or jewel with simple directions (is mix in tea each night before bed....makes 5 doses) The patient will usually be ravenous for several days. You yourself will be weakened from your efforts and may feel dizzy.

Spirit (purple, Mercury, taste) is used in almost all spells and can be easly used by both males and females. Represents the All, the ascent of the divine.
Air (yellow, Jupiter, East, hearing) used mainly by females. Represents intellligence, art, knowledge and beginnings.
Earth (green, Saturn, North, smell) this is usually easier for males to use. Represents stability, endurance, body and death.
Fire (red, Mars, South, touch) this is also an element that is stronger in males. Represents courage, action, daring, passion, destruction, energy, will and power of transformation.
Water (blue, Venus, West, sight) this final element is strongest in females. Resents emotions, intuition, life, healing and endings.
