About Me

Siddhartha Raja was born on the 3rd of March 1980, at St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home at Bombay, now known as Mumbai in India. He grew up quickly, and went crying everyday to the New Activity School at Gowalia Tank. His worried parents wondered if this kid who hated his pre-school would ever make it big in the academic sense. They then sent him to various admission exams for different schools and the only one he entered willingly was the one he got into and stayed in - the most awesome Cathedral and John Connon School.

His time at CJCS went quite slow, as the first 10 years of his academic career progressed from one thing to another. After the 10th board exams, Siddhartha Raja found himself in Ruia College - a nice place, if you ignore the canteen - and he enjoyed thoroughly here (garnering quite a reputation in many things) and did superbly well in his 12th exams - thus ending his parents fears of academic stasis. The next step was four years of the Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications at VESIT.

He is now at Stanford University doing his graduate study in the Management Science and Engineering program. Read about it here.

Siddhartha loves many things - like music, walks in the rain, writing and explaining stuff. He has been playing the guitar for 15 years now, but hasn't yet got past The Edge. Yes, U2 is a hot favourite - and Where The Streets Have No Name his favourite song. Read his list of fav songs here.

He also likes to write about technology - both as a science and an art. Of course, he also wants to do a lot more in his life. Siddhartha is planning BIGTIME! Anyone who knows him well knows he has a plan for it all...

This cartoon strip sort-of sums me up... wrt my love for pizzas, and how I hate people waking me up from my sleep for 'un-necessary' things!
