The educational efforts of Siena College Grade School are premised on the belief that teaching facilitates the growth of a child in Christian Personhood through encounter experiences. Through this growth, the child will be able to establish his relationship with Christ, with our loving Father, and with his fellowmen. In the process of the growing child is helped by the concerted and cooperative efforts of the school administration, teachers, auxiliary personnel, his parents and guardians. The child’s growth implies the development of the total aspects of his personality: religious, moral, physical, psychological, intellectual, socio-civic and cultural. The curricular (subject curriculum and activities) offerings guide the child in the development of the basic skills, understanding, beliefs and commitments which will enable him to satisfactorily meet the requirements of his Christian vocation as a growing person, through the basic knowledge and appreciation of the truths and processes in the following areas.
