Anima Page

This page is dedicated to something that I really enjoy, and that is cartoons. I know, I know. When you think of cartoons you do not normally think of anima, but the way I look at anima is that it is cartoons for adults. I still like to watch kiddie cartoons that have an actually story line to them (like Gargoyles, Batman, or Spider-Man). I also like some U.S. Made adult oriented Cartoons (like Spawn, Future-Rama, Daria, or Dilbert (if I could get it)).

Unfortunetly mainstream America is not really into watching something that they realate that only five year olds should watch. That is were the Japanese come into the picture. Anime is every were in Japan. They have kid TV series, adult TV series, TV Movies or mini-series, and also Theatrical Full Length Movies (okay some of them are not that long). Luckly some of the anima oer there is slowly filtered over to us. Since I can not speak Japanese yet (someday I keep telling myself). I have to wait until something is dubed or subtitled, and I hate having to read the bottom of the screen instead of watching the anima. You normally have to watch it several times to get the full picture.

Some anima though is kinda strange. You probably know the ones I am talking about (L.A. Blue Girl, Hiro Sukidoji (sp)). You know the ones with the deamons/devils/hellspawn/whatever that have mutliple appendeges that can flaten buildings and grap women, hold them, and violate them with out the deamon/devils/hellspawn/whatever moving from its spot two football fields way. I will have to say this that some Japanese are really sick and twisted. Of course I know of some people here that like that stuff to, but I would rather see a 100 Story Robot be blasted to bits by three space freedom fighters anyday.
