Specialty Nurseries is a Site aimed at Northwest Gardeners, but anyone will benefit from their excellent presentations on peonies and perennials. It is an all-around resource guide, providing solid information on perrenial gardening. Specialty Nurseries lists garden shows, articles, photos, garden links, listings of nurseries, bookstores, and great photos. You can also order on this site. A special treat they provide is a slide show of Specialty Gardens.
Australian Peony Page with great pictures and good literature which I would love to post here, but better that you visit it yourself to give its author credit. Again, worth a visit.
"Which Catalogue to Order From" by Peter Leppik, who has reviewed (and prioritized by quality) most available catalogues, including customer's comments . White Flowers is ranked highly. It's nice to hear how other customers feel about these catalogue sources. Author has done a good job.
White Flower Farms in Connecticut, is a site Psxius of AOL garden chat gave to me. They specialize in perennials and roses. Sections on garden decor, tools, and gift ideas. A very nice, well-thought out site that includes cultivar information and more. Good pics, too.
Khlem's of Illinois is another site recommended by Psxius, but I was unable to find a website for them. She has purchased most of her peonies, shipped bareroot, from them, and says their instructions are concise on planting, and they usually include a free daylily as a token of appreciation. You may have noticed Khlems developed several of the peonies I own.
Garden Guide is another great source whether you want peonies, herbs, perennials or vegetables.
They boast the following services for your enjoyment and education: "Flower Guide - Vegetable Guide - Herb Guide - Tips and Techniques-Discussion Forum new!- Browse Articles - Links - Order Catalogs-Garden Guides".
Cricket Hill Peony Heaven specializes in Chinese Tree peonies and has an excellent list of books available on peonies of all types. They accept online ordering and have many pictures to show you what you will be getting. They include a Discussion Forum, planting instructions, and information on upcoming flower festivals.
Michael P. Garofalo 's Quotations Site ~ Distributed on the Internet by Michael P. Garofalo. I thank him for providing many of the quotes I have used. His site is most enjoyable and extensive, including a history of gardening.
