   There is a way you can automate the login procedure in the ftp sites.
   Create a ".netrc" text file (no quotes) in your home directory (of a
   unix shell) and add the following lines:

     machine ftp.name.here                  (ftp to ftp.name.here site)
     login anonymous                        (login as anonymous)
     password your@email.address.here       (give your email address as
                                             password)

   Everything inside the parenthesis should not be put in the file.They
   are just comments.Add the above lines for each ftp site you want to be
   able to login to, quickly.Of course, you can change the login or the
   password in case you have a special ftp account.If you want to have a
   default configuration for all sites, add the following lines:

     default
     login anonymous
     password your@email.address.here

   Any time you login to a site that does not have a "machine" reference
   in the .netrc file, the above default login and password will be feeded
   to the site's prompts.
