Free Software

Colors Game. Java Applet and application Simple but interesting logic game I wrote in Java. I just finished new version, slightly better game logic and some incompatibility and other bugs are now fixed. Have fun!
GeoSend, especially for GeoCitizens! freeware utility I wrote to automate sending of updated files to your geocities home via ftp, is ready for testing. I use it already for several months, and it looks good, now your welcome to use it too. Have fun! It's for FREE. (Works under windows 95 and NT4).
BioRhytms pages. A couple of pages about biorhytms, including great charting applet on Java 1.1! Right now the only browser that works correct with them is Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, due to file restrictions on GeoCities. I'm sorry!
Checker, another my freeware utility to check files and reading speed, very useful for CDroms, system tuning and so on. (Windows 95, some problems with NT4)

Personal Information

Sergey's pic Hello!

Sergey Chernov, 29 years old Russian programmer, is glad to see you here.

I'm kinda shy when it's time to talk about myself. My occupation is my greatest hobby in the same time, that makes me potentially boring for ones who hate computers, except that I Love Cats!

Cats are very special as for me. There is four of them in my family. They are fluffy, caressing and loving creatures, they greatly helps us and save from boredom. What they are doing worth a separate page, and soon I will release them. You know, it's the problem -- the more you prepare the cats page, the more stuff you have to put -- cats are doing more and more amusing stuff. For example, do you know that four cats are usually 3 and 1? Here is a cat's song for them pets -- cats in the cradle. Cute melody, isn't it?

Brief description of my professional skills is listed in my resume. I'm always opened for interesting ideas and proposals. I'm often fighting boredom by writing free stuff, like one from what is listed above. Right now I prefer Java and try to use it for everything (very successful), before I loved C++, C, and even Pascal until "The C" appeared in my horizon at 1987. I used asm a lot but never loved it.

If you will want to contact me -- please write me to the address sergeych@earthling.net. I use Microsoft NetMeeting for online communication, you can find me by this email address on the ils.four11.com, or just look for me in this nice four11 internet directory.

My best wishes to you,
Sergey.
