This month, a new body platform was designed by Drmrboy and was built using "Lexan" as the material of choice. It is the most stable platform yet built to house the IEEE Region 2 Competition robot.

The mainboard has had all of the vias and sockets soldered on. The chips will soon be put into place to try testing out the new mainboard.

Plans are to use Pulse-Width Modulated DC motors this year, instead of Stepper motors. PICs will most likely be used if Drmrboy can figure them out in time.
