The new mainboard for the future Marvin robots has been designed and has many improvements over the Marvin Jr. board. It supports the following:

EEPROM and RAM on the cards
Multi-function cards
warning systems
Mainboard speaker
interrupts
"plug-n-play" cards
2 TI92 protocol serial ports
1 9-pin serial port
support for serial cards

It has built-in diagnostics and warning systems, busy and idle lights, CPU halt indicator, a piezo buzzer and a speaker, a two digit LED display, main and alternate battery supplies.
