October 16, 1998:
All yesterday was spent on PCAD drawing up the mainboard. A lot got done, and we expect that the board will be printed on schedule. We plan to take the rest of the month to debug the board and then next month to build diagnostic cards. By the end of the month we plan to have another mainboard printed with all (yea right) of the bugs removed. Also we plan to have the motor card and the sensor card running for the competition robot. We plan to have the frame for the hovercraft built. The second hovercraft will be built in December.

October 30, 1998:
Unwanted yet expected setbacks (mainly funding) seem to threaten our schedule. Supplies will only build us one PCB for now, but we still hope to get at least one hovercraft done by Christmas break so that the other one can be finished during the break. The mainboard has been etched, but still needs to be put together.
